Liqua Flow Pump Company is a growing, U.S.-based manufacturer of industrial centrifugal pumps serving municipalities, infrastructure, and industrial markets. We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead our machining, assembly, and repair teams with a focus on quality, safety, and delivery.


This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys developing people, improving systems, and making things work better.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day shop floor operations across machining, assembly, and repair

  • Manage and mentor machinists, shop technicians, and production leads

  • Create and optimize production schedules to meet on-time delivery targets

  • Ensure quality standards, safety procedures, and 5S practices are followed

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales to align on priorities

  • Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support training and upskilling of team members using our internal growth roadmap

  • Maintain accurate reporting of productivity, downtime, and resource planning


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a production management or shop leadership role

  • Background in industrial equipment, machining, fabrication, or assembly

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and shop floor KPIs

  • Experience leading teams in a job-shop or engineered-to-order environment preferred

  • Excellent communication, scheduling, and coaching skills

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies a plus
