Liqua Flow Pump Company is a growing, American-made manufacturer of industrial centrifugal pumps serving municipalities, utilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

We’re hiring a driven and detail-oriented Applications Engineer to be the technical bridge between our customers, sales team, and engineering department. If you love solving technical problems, collaborating with contractors and engineers, and turning specs into smart pump solutions, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and RFQs to select the best pump for the job

  • Work closely with Inside Sales and Engineering teams to develop proposals and quotes

  • Support sales opportunities by answering technical inquiries and developing pump curves, performance data, and submittal packages

  • Prepare technical proposals for custom pump systems or specialized applications

  • Collaborate with contractors, engineering firms, and end-users on design modifications

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and support ongoing customer projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years in technical support, pump sizing, or engineered equipment

  • Understanding of centrifugal pump design, hydraulics, or fluid systems

  • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical info to customers and non-engineers

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus)
